Behind a Successful Person …
By Liz Lois
Surely you’ve heard it said once that behind every successful man is a great woman.
I would go one step further to say that behind every successful person there is usually a big family.
It appears that the factor ‘mother’ or / and ‘father’ is paramount to get to reach our full potential. We also have brothers, sisters, other relatives and to the support provided by friends, school teachers, pastors in churches, or your girlfriend.
Once a close friend told me that success can not come alone.
When I hear people talking on television about the struggles and achievements in his personal life, for example, almost always hear mention his mother or father as instrumental in the success achieved either as singers, actors, newscasters , etc. Such is the case of Lucero, Gloria Trevi, the Nuestra Belleza Latina girls and as many more of the media at his side had the unconditional support of a mother who is dedicated to providing protection and guidance, and has placed it in row cheered for their son or daughter.
The person next to you to give your full support is Involved in the things that interest you and become your accomplice, not take away – gives you, believe in your dreams, help you realize your dreams, wrapped in your struggle, cry your losses and celebrate with you your joys and your successes. When you fall, it helps you get up. When you get discouraged, it motivates you to move forward.
That person does not judge you or criticize you, gives you his opinion and guidance when needed. That person does not leave you to your fate, but that gives you protection and defends to the world as often as necessary.
Sometimes not even have to invest resources, but rather to help find those resources. The thing that matters is the moral support, the presence of someone who loves you, admires you and respects you.
Everyone needs at least one person so to get where we want. This is especially true in our childhood when we have high hopes and great desire to do things. How often do parents have been victims of negligent, indifferent, and so busy with their lives that they forget about their children’s lives!
Today, think of a person that you could give your unconditional support …
